A beautiful game
This is some beautiful artwork, and great music. The combo system is an interesting idea considering the protagonist, and I did notice an internet reference in one of the moves XD. Overall, a rather quiet and enjoyable game for those who want something at a moderate pace.
It lacks something...
The weapon charge is ok, and the power-ups nice, but purchasing upgrades seems pointless without any means of activation. Use of the mouse was a change, but it just lacks in overall action.
Tricky, but good
The negative power-ups give the game a challenging feel, especially if you're up against a boss with one. Other than that, good game.
Not your everyday shooter
This game runs on a very interesting mechanic. Rollerball mice work very well with it (I have one) and the weapon variety is rather nice, be it rapid fire, spread shot, homing, strategic placement, or damaging single shot, you practically pick your power there. the game play can get pretty crazy, but it's rather addictive and enjoyable.
